I AGREE i love kim junho so much and so much of the actions he does, the things he says are all part of korean entertainment culture and idol culture that it's hard to understand as an outsider or non-native. this is not to say that the sexualization and objectifying is okay but it's very, very common and not a "this mc sucks, this mc is a predator" thing

that upset me don't compare our Queens they are literally all the most beautiful and Byul and Solar are my bias twins. He/she literally said "It DOESN'T make the other three dogs," as in they are still probably prettier than the average person, but Solar is the most traditionally pretty by Korean standards. In the same way that there are people who are all pretty in different ways, people who model for a living have certain specific standards. Just because you aren't picked to be a model doesn't mean you aren't pretty, it just means you don't fit that standard. Just because they picked Solar as the prettiest doesn't mean the others aren't pretty, it just means that they fit the traditional Korean standards less than Solar does.

It's more like they just don't bullshit people for fear of hurting their feelings in the East. It's not done to be mean either, it's like stating a fact. Solar is the most traditionally pretty girl in the group. It doesn't make the other three dogs, it means they think there's a prettiest person and she is it. When they sit there and sing the praises of MMM's vocals they're not blowing smoke, they're legitimately saying "you're better than all these other groups at what you do".
